Originally from Chattanooga, Tennessee, Bryan Rayburn has practiced law in Dalton since 2014. Prior to joining the firm, Bryan spent time as an associate attorney at Morris & Dean practicing in the areas of domestic relations, personal injury, criminal defense, and workers’ compensation. Most recently, Bryan served as an Assistant District Attorney in the Conasauga Judicial Circuit prosecuting both misdemeanor and felony cases for the State of Georgia.
Bryan graduated magna cum laude from Atlanta’s John Marshall Law School. During law school, Bryan held and 18-month externship with the Conasauga Judicial Circuit's District Attorney's Office and practiced under Georgia's Civil Practice Act. Additionally, he was an academic research assistant in the areas of criminal law and tort law, and received the CALI Award for academic excellence in Wills, Trusts and Estates.
Prior to law school, Bryan graduated from the University of Mississippi in 2007 with a Bachelor's Degree in History. While attending Ole Miss, Bryan was a member of the Phi Alpha Theta History Honors Society, as well as a member of the Alpha Upsilon Chapter of the Kappa Alpha Order. After graduation, Bryan was employed as a workers’ compensation paralegal at the firm of Harriss & Hartman in Rossville, Georgia, prior to beginning law school in 2011.
Bryan is a member of the State Bar of Georgia and the Conasauga Bar Association. Since 2015, he has served as an officer of the local Bar Association, and is currently serving as the Vice President for the 2016-2017 term. Bryan has also been admittted to practice before the Georgia Court of Appeals, and the Georgia Supreme Court.
Bryan, his wife Nicki, and their two children reside in Dalton. They attend First United Methodist Church where Bryan serves on the church council and is a middle school youth leader.
